Gathering in Raleigh, NC, May 4 - 5, the annual NewDEAL Forum Ideas Summit will focus on solutions to the biggest challenges and opportunities for state and local leaders to expand economic opportunity and make government work better. More than 40 policymakers will convene with partners from the public and private sectors to share ideas, hear about models from North Carolina, and engage in conversations about key issues facing communities across the country. We'll discuss ways to expand economic opportunity while addressing affordability challenges as well as how to improve our education system, channel transformational technology, and repair our democracy. In addition, programming will include sessions on effective leadership and strategies for governing successfully in challenging political environments.
