During the 2020 Democratic National Convention, the NewDEAL Forum was proud to partner with sister organization The NewDEAL to host the Climate Solutions Roundtable, during which the Forum Climate Policy Group released their policy recommendations, the culmination of a year of work. The Climate Solutions Roundtable featured a slate of thought leaders on climate and sustainability, including Microsoft President Brad Smith; Washington Governor Jay Inslee; NRDC President and CEO Gina McCarthy; Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes; Phoenix, AZ Mayor Kate Gallego; Norfolk, VA Councilmember Andria McClellan; and Dennis Mehiel, Founding Board Member of Build Together.
