With over 25 years of experience, Nicole Darnall is a leading expert and innovator in sustainable enterprise. She is a Foundation Professor of Sustainability and Founding Director of Arizona State University's Sustainable Purchasing Research Initiative, where she conducts cutting-edge research and engages with students, faculty, and stakeholders across the practice on sustainability issues. Formerly an Associate Dean of Arizona State University's School of Sustainability, she is currently a Federal Advisory Committee Commissioner and Chair of the Acquisition Workforce Subcommittee, where she offers recommendations on how to embed sustainability considerations across federal acquisition decisions. She has partnered with numerous local governments and technology start-ups to accelerate and amplify sustainability outcomes.
